In this talk, Professor Shantanu Suman traces how Studio 165+, an early collaboration with the Muncie Action Plan, grew into a multi-year partnership that helped guide how $1 million in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funds reached Muncie’s neighborhoods and what his design students learned along the way, working directly with residents on real civic challenges. It's a story about what happens when design shows up not in a gallery, but in a neighborhood meeting.
